Airo employs a comprehensive digital 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) verification process which is in line with the regulator's expectations and industry's best practices. The customer due diligence process includes, but is not limited to, submission of every customer's legally recognised identity documents, occupation, income sources, domestic ringgit borrowing status, and a series of anti-money laundering declarations.
All submissions are screened through Airo's subscribed provider's Anti-Money laundering databases. Only those that satisfy the necessary requirements are accepted. In some cases, customers may be required to submit additional documents and/or complete an Enhanced Due Diligence form.
