Our view is that short-term or partial performance data can be easily misinterpreted and may not accurately reflect the nature of a disciplined, long-term investment approach. Rather than emphasising isolated figures, we believe performance should be evaluated over a sufficiently meaningful timeframe, where results can be understood in the right context.
